i went to a camp where we drove 4 hours to virginia and climbed to the top of old rag mountain. it was the most awsome thing i have ever done or experienced. we saw a rattlesnake too, which freaked me out, but it was cool. when we got to the boulder part of the climb it immediately started to pour which made it twice as exciting (and twice as less hot). the shenendoah mountains were beautiful but all i had brought to camp was a disposible camara and good thing i left it back at camp for the hike or it would have been ruined. i missed too many beautiful pictures though. at least they're memories.
every shower i had at camp was ice and everything i wore was dirty and smelly so now imi excited to do laundry and take a warm shower in a real bed (but it didnt matter to me at camp). Im more than excited talk to people now!
ok, my lack of sleeping in and getting to bed at a reasonable time has really added up (church ended around 11 pm and we were up each morning by 7:30, except this morning - 5:30, and yesterday - 6:25) so im off to bed. hope you all enjoyed my first journal entry and i pray i dont mess it up because of my lack of patience that comes with my lack of sleep.
